The Moorings Yacht Club, one of the most active Yacht Clubs in Florida, has maintained a firm commitment that members need only demonstrate an interest in things nautical, and share a desire to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded friends. Guests are welcome at Friday morning coffees, where members require little coaxing to relate adventures on the water. Activities are varied and appeal to a wide range of interests, including the Christmas Lighted Boat Parade, long and short distance cruises, island beach picnics, raft ups, “On Deck” cocktail parties, Commodore's Dinner Dance, and much more!

The Moorings Yacht Club, in Vero Beach, is located on the shores of the Indian River Lagoon, the most biologically diverse estuary in North America. The lagoon is the cradle of the ocean, serving as a nursery ground for many species of fish, birds, plants, and animals. Ocean beaches in the lagoon region attract some of the highest numbers of nesting sea turtles in the western hemisphere. As one of Florida’s most environmentally friendly Yacht Clubs, members enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, inshore fishing, offshore fishing, water skiing, and sunset cruises. As they say, life is just better on a boat!
